Friends of KATI is a group of believers, supporters and advocates who help us realize our mission to train culturally sensitive and responsive art therapists and to provide art therapy as a community service.

Donations made to the Friends of KATI Fund are directed towards areas of greatest need. These funds are flexible and are allocated strategically to help KATI realize its greater goals.

KATI’s BIPOC Scholarship, which aims to uplift and support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) on their journey to become art therapists by providing crucial funding, is an expression of our commitment to social justice. We firmly believe that diversity is the bedrock of a vibrant art therapy community.

Our vision is to not only sustain but also grow the BIPOC Scholarship program, with 2024 fundraising goal of $5000. We are reaching out to you, seeking your support to ensure underrepresented students aspiring to become art therapists have the resources that they need to thrive.
