Is the distance cohort two or three years?
The distance cohort takes three years to complete, with three onsite immersions in Nelson, BC. Each immersion takes place over three weeks in June/July.
The academic year runs from June to March, with a break for winter holidays. The third year is intended for finishing clinical placement hours and thesis/capstone project requirements. This schedule allows students the possibility of working part-time should they need to, while completing a full-time program.
The first year of the distance cohort begins with the Groundwater workshop.
